MCR-MCT cabled magnesium oxide (MgO) temperature probes are the ideal solution for applications that require superior vibration resistance, high Speed Reading or particular flexibility with longer sheaths. These probes offer superior performance due to their advanced construction.
The solution in magnesium mineral oxide cable is characterized by a strong compaction of the internal insulation between the conductors which allows it to be particularly flexible and therefore resistant to vibrations and to have a higher Speed Reading even in the configuration with a thermoresistance element with an assembly of the sensitive element with the “Reverse” technique..
MCx probes can be terminated with connectors or with free leads for greater flexibility of use.
Technical features
The Magnesium Oxide Temperature Probes are characterized by a high compaction of the internal insulation. This allows it to have a high heat exchange between the sensitive element and the temperature to be measured. In addition to this, the temperature probes in magnesium oxide can be made with very small diameters.
The Magnesium Oxide Temperature Probes are characterized by excellent flexibility and can be folded or rolled up for any storage or positioning requirement.
Thanks to the high compaction of the internal insulation, the magnesium oxide temperature probes are very robust and guarantee excellent resistance to vibrations. The assembly technique in “Reverse” Technology of the RTD thermoresistance sensitive elements offers an Excellent Resistance to Vibrations even with this type of normally more fragile elements. The temperature probes with cable can be completed with protective Flex steel sheaths which guarantee further mechanical resistance.
Thanks to the use of the cable, the MCR-MCT Temperature Probes allow for quick and convenient installation even in solutions with little space.
